Ski Touring is mountain climbing for the winter. With special skis, skins and bindings you can walk up the mountain. Once at the top you remove the special skins and tighten your bindings before enjoying the descent back in to the valley.
All of us, except Rhiannon, have tried it and Neill even uses them to get up to the local pub at the top of our mountain each Wednesday.
